Benjamin Amiot
Sailor

Born on December 8th, 1988 in Valenciennes, France

27-year-old Benjamin Amiot already has a solid experience competing on catamarans. He has been racing in Formula 18 since he was just 15, and has raced this class more than any other boat, including against François Morvan, now his team-mate at Spindrift. Thanks to his experience in the class, Benjamin finished runner-up in the 2014 World Championship. He has now been racing foiling boats for three years (Flying Phantom and GC32). In 2015, he joined Phantom, then became a crew member on two GC32s: Gitana and Zoulou. Next he was hired as trimmer and tactician on the Diam 24 Prince de Bretagne, then he competed in two Grand Prix events on Ladycat powered by Spindrift racing.
